Rare exquisite stationery
"It’s hard to find onion skin stationery and finding Komorebi was hitting the jackpot."

Smooth Onion Skin Loose Leaf Paper – A4 (Alcohol Ink Compatible) is an extraordinary Japanese paper stationery that combines thinness with surprising strength. At only 40 gsm, it feels light in the hand yet resists ink bleed-through even when areas are heavily filled in with a fountain pen. While its translucency makes writing visible from the reverse side, the surface holds ink securely without letting it seep through.
The paper has been dry-wheel dried, giving it a smooth and refined texture. Tested with multiple fountain pen nibs, it offers a consistently smooth writing feel. With very fine nibs that deliver little ink, you may notice occasional skipping as the surface does not absorb quickly. Medium nibs or broader are the most stable and bring out the rich shading and sheen that this paper is known for.
This onion-skin style paper is also resistant to alcohol inks and markers, making it versatile for both writing and creative art. Lightweight yet durable, it is a perfect choice for fountain pen enthusiasts, artists, and anyone who appreciates unique Japanese stationery.

"It’s hard to find onion skin stationery and finding Komorebi was hitting the jackpot."
"I do really love this paper. It takes fountain pen ink wonderfully (one sided only obviously with significant ghosting but little bleed through except with really wet wet inks - but I'm more than okay with that); as well as taking almost any other media I've thrown at it so far (watercolours, gels, pencils, acrylic ink). Extra Fine and Fine nibs need a pencil board because the pillowy soft paper will tend to catch the tips, but medium and broad nibs are sublime if you want that extra bit of pillowiness (is that a word?). The paper softness does invite you to indulge in a slower writing process. It captures the different qualities of the ink superbly and is a lush ASMR delight afterwards when leafing through the pages!"
"Superb paper sent in super quick time with no fees to pay - was pleasantly surprised! Thank you"
