This A5 writing pad features Mitsubishi Bank Paper, a premium Japanese paper originally developed by Mitsubishi Paper Mills for use in bank ledgers. Designed to record important transactions with absolute clarity, it offers a uniquely smooth yet firm writing surface that handles fountain pen inks exceptionally well. Lines remain sharp, shading and sheen appear vividly, and feathering is minimal—qualities that have made it a favorite among discerning writers.

Bank Paper is renowned for its durability and archival properties. Engineered to preserve records for decades without yellowing or deterioration, it is ideal for letters, journaling, and long-term notes you want to treasure.

This paper is no longer widely produced for stationery use, and stocks are limited. Once it is gone, it will be difficult to find again in this form—making this pad a rare opportunity for those who value fine Japanese stationery and the heritage of Mitsubishi’s craftsmanship.
