The Maruman Zuan Ring Bound Notebook A6 is a compact Japanese notebook made with Maruman’s MPS-N writing paper, developed for smooth, reliable everyday writing. The Zuan series has long been a standard in Japan, valued for its paper quality and simple, functional design.

This Japanese notebook uses MPS-N Writing Paper in a 70 gsm version, which differs from the 80 gsm paper used in Maruman’s Mnemosyne notebooks. While both belong to the same MPS-N paper family, the 70 gsm paper offers a lighter, more flexible feel, making it comfortable for quick notes, diagrams, and continuous writing. It provides a smooth surface for pens, pencils, and mechanical pencils, with controlled ink behavior and minimal bleed-through for everyday use.

The A6 size is easy to carry and fits neatly into a bag or jacket pocket, making it ideal for note-taking, planning, studying, and visual thinking on the go. Its sturdy twin-ring binding allows the notebook to open flat or fold back fully, supporting comfortable writing in any situation.
