These Feather Waltz Paper Planner Inserts in Bible (Personal) size from TAKEO hold 50 blank sheets of Feather Waltz, a pastel Japanese paper with soft white flecks that look like feathers drifting across the page, in five colors for a Bible (Personal) ring planner.

Bible (Personal) is TAKEO's roomiest refill size, with 9.5 × 17 cm sheets and six holes, giving you space for weekly plans, meeting notes and longer journal entries. The pack holds ten sheets each of five pastel colors: sakura (cherry blossom), fuji (wisteria), yuki (snow), mizu (water), wakakusa (young grass). Use them to color-code sections, separate plans from notes, or simply bring a lighter mood to your planner. The sheets are blank, leaving the layout up to you.

TAKEO describes Feather Waltz as a pastel paper that looks as if soft down had been scattered over it. The flecks are part of the paper itself, made in the papermaking process; there are no real feathers in it. The surface is smooth to the touch, and each sheet weighs approximately 81.4 gsm and is about 0.11 mm thick. TAKEO does not publish fountain pen guidance for this paper, so if you write with fountain pens, try your ink on one sheet first.

Feather Waltz has been part of TAKEO's range since 1990 and is made in Japan by Oji F-Tex, which describes it as recreating soft feathers dancing in the air. TAKEO builds its planner refills from papers selected out of the thousands of fine papers it handles.

The Story of TAKEO

TAKEO Co., Ltd. is a specialist paper merchant founded in 1899 in Kyobashi, Tokyo, as Takeo Yoshiten, and based in Kanda since the following year. For generations it has supplied fine papers to graphic designers, printers and publishers, and its range covers thousands of papers that differ in color, texture and weight. At the TAKEO Mihoncho main store in Kanda, visitors can buy around 2,700 kinds of paper one sheet at a time, arranged by color, and feel each one before they choose.

TAKEO PAPER PRODUCTS is the company's own stationery line. Its planner refills are made from papers selected out of those thousands of fine papers, and its products are designed and made in Japan, with each one inspected by hand.
