Experience a rare union of history and craftsmanship with the Dressco Stitched Notebook Set of 4, thoughtfully presented in an Alezan book case.
Each notebook is made with paper once produced by Mitsubishi Paper Mills at its historic Takasago Mill in Hyogo, Japan — the same mill and even the same fourth paper machine that created both the renowned Spica Laid Bond Paper and Bank Ledger Paper.
Though production ended in 2024 when the machine was retired, these notebooks preserve its unique texture and tactile character — something that can never be reproduced again.

The Spica Laid Bond Paper (Avocado / White)  is a cotton-rich writing paper first introduced in 1970.
Lightweight yet durable, it features the constellation Spica, the brightest star in Virgo, as a delicate watermark. Its subtle laid pattern and crisp surface make it a favorite among fountain pen users, offering smooth ink flow with minimal show-through.

The Bank Ledger Paper (Orange / Gray)  was originally developed for accounting ledgers and is prized for its firm body and smooth writing surface.
When held to the light, its discreet “Three Diamonds” watermark—a reference to the name Mitsubishi (“mitsu” meaning three, “hishi” meaning diamond)—quietly appears.
Resistant to feathering and show-through, this paper delivers clarity and comfort in every stroke, beloved by pen enthusiasts for decades.

Together, these four notebooks honor the legacy of Japanese papermaking — the final works of a retired machine that shaped decades of writing culture.
