Refusing to compromise, Yamamoto Paper spent three years developing a new paper worthy of that legacy. The result was Canopus—a soft, micro-coated, high-bulk paper designed to express every nuance of ink shading and the shimmering beauty of color inks.
Named after Canopus, the second-brightest star in the night sky and a symbol of peace and longevity in Japan, this paper reflects the same spirit: a light that continues to shine quietly, even through change.
With its 73 gsm weight, Canopus offers the luxurious thickness of 150 gsm coated stock while remaining surprisingly light.
