Bank Paper Planner Refill, Mini 6 Size
This Mini 6 planner refill is made with the legendary Bank Paper, a bank ledger paper originally developed by Mitsubishi Paper Mills in 1960 for handwritten ledgers. Designed so clerks could write fine lines of numbers all day, this bank ledger paper offers a smooth surface, excellent ink handling, and a writing feel that fountain pen users around the world have come to love.
At around 87.9 gsm, the sheets feel surprisingly substantial for such a smooth writing paper. Ink glides across the page with minimal feathering, keeping lines crisp and colors rich. Shading and sheen show beautifully, yet the paper remains practical for everyday planning, journaling, and long-form writing. Both sides of each sheet can be used comfortably, which makes the compact Mini 6 format even more efficient.
Because this Bank Paper has now been discontinued, every refill is a rare piece of Japan’s paper heritage. The blank pages give you full freedom to design your own layouts for task lists, daily logs, sketches, or ink swatches, and the Mini 6 size fits standard ring planners. If you love Japanese stationery and want to experience classic Japanese paper stationery originally made as bank ledger paper, this refill brings that history into your everyday planner.
